Book Fair Update!

This year we’re teaming up with the Silver Unicorn for the Annual Douglas Book Fair! Due to the two snow days this week, this year’s fair is rescheduled for Wednesday, December 4th through Tuesday, December 10th. Students will attend the fair with their class during their regularly scheduled library time. If your child wishes to make a purchase, please send him/her to school with either cash or a check made payable to “Douglas School PTO”.

Families are welcome to visit the fair with their child’s class or any time the fair is open.  In addition, Family Night is scheduled for Wednesday evening, December 4th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Shop the fair and listen to a spectacular lineup of Douglas teachers and staff reading from some of their favorite books. There will also be a Spirit Wear pop-up!
The book fair’s hours are as follows:

Wednesday (12/4)              10:00 am – 3:00 pm; 6:00-8:00 pm Family Night!

Thursday (12/5)                   9:00 am – 12:45 pm

Friday (12/6)                        10:00 am – 12:00 pm & 1:30-3:00 pm

Monday (12/9)                    10:00-11:00 am & 12:30-3:15 pm

Tuesday (12/10)                    10:00-11:00 am & 2:00-3:00 pm

The PTO funds financial assistance for the book fair. If you would like your child(ren) to pick an item from fair but money is a barrier, your child(ren) will be allowed to make a purchase up to a value of $8 at the fair.
