Douglas Day, Tuesday, June 18th! Volunteers still needed!

Rain, rain, go away! Hopefully third time’s a charm for our beloved Douglas Day!  This annual field day is a Douglas tradition, and tons of fun. Each class divides into four color-coded teams for a morning of events like scooter racing, catapults, bucket brigades, parachute games, and three-legged races. Everyone gets a chance to dunk a teacher or parent (or even Dr. Whitbeck!) in the dunk tank! Popcorn will be available.

We need volunteers to make the day run, and we’re asking for parents help. Can you spare an hour during the morning of June 18th? Or willing to be dunked? Please sign up here (NOTE: this is a new sign up link!). Questions? Email Michelle Kenney

Please remember that anyone attending Douglas Day needs to have a CORI form on file at the office. (It’s quick and easy! Just stop by the office with a photo ID.)

Suggested items to remember; camera, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, and water bottle (no glass water bottles, please).
