Our popular Book Fair is held each year for a few days in late November/early December. This is not only a fantastic fundraiser for the school, but a great opportunity to purchase new books, calendars, and other gift items for your family and friends just in time for the holiday season.
We have been working with the Scholastic company for years, and have been pleased with the quality and selection of books that arrive. Before the Book Fair, a flyer is sent home indicating the day and time that each class will visit the fair. Parents are welcome to shop with their child and a special time is offered in the evening for working parents. The teachers and librarians fill out a wish list, so you can buy books for the classrooms as well.
Each year, the Book Fair's family shopping night features a special guest author, who does a reading and signs autographs. Don't miss out!
All purchases are tax-free. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted. Confidential financial assistance in the form of book vouchers is available. Contact Dr. Whitbeck or your child's classroom teacher.
To volunteer at the book fair, sign up online. To see when the book fair is open for shopping and when your child's class is going, see the online schedule. To contact the Book Fair committee, send email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
