Welcome back to all of our Douglas families and staff!
This will certainly not be a typical school year, but the PTO is ready to take on all of the challenges this year presents to us. Our main goals for this year are to keep our community (of both remote families and in-person families) informed and connected, and to support our school teachers and staff.
Please feel welcome to contact us at email@example.com
with any questions, suggestions or if you are looking for ways to be involved with the PTO. As we start this new school year, here are a few key pieces of information for you to keep in mind:
BREAKFASTS AND LUNCHES:
UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, ALL STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE ONE BREAKFAST AND ONE LUNCH DAILY FREE OF CHARGE. Please note that any “a la carte” purchase, 2nd meals, bottled water will be charged to the student’s account.
DOUGLAS SAFE ARRIVAL:
If your child will be absent or tardy, please let the school know. You can report it online (recommended) via the PTO website
or by calling the Safe Arrival phone line (978-266-2566).
Please remember that students need to have a responsible party ready to greet them before they will be released off the bus at drop-off time. Make sure you are visible to the bus driver or your child will be returned to school.
- Grade 1 and 2 parents: District policy says that an adult needs to be visible to let off a 1st or 2nd grader as well.
Finally, if you haven’t viewed the reopening videos for putting on and taking off masks, walking in the hall, entering the bathroom, and riding the bus, check out the Douglas School YouTube Page. They are in the “Reopening Videos” playlist.
