Labels for Education is a Campbell’s reward points program where Douglas can accumulate points to get free educational equipment, including computers, sports equipment, art supplies, and musical instruments.
During the 2011-2012 school year, the PTO collected enough labels and UPC codes to purchase an iPod, which is used to play music over wireless speakers in the lobby, and other areas as needed or desired. Each year, the school can choose from a wide range of items, and in the past has spent its points on school supplies and playground equipment.
To participate in this program, we need to collect labels and UPC codes from Campbell and Pepperidge Farm products. For a complete product list, click here. You can also print bonus sheets to earn more points when you collect your labels. The web site also has informational pages, like a health and wellness section with ideas for exercising and games for your children. From Campbell soup products, save the full front label that says “Campbell’s.” From Pepperidge Farm products, save the UPC Code. When in doubt, please send the whole label. Collection boxes are located in the Douglas lobby (outside the office, under the signin/signout shelf) as well as Roche Brothers and Donelan’s in Acton. If you have questions, please contact Maria Parodos (firstname.lastname@example.org).
