On the day before school starts PTO volunteers welcome teachers and staff back with a luncheon. This event gives the PTO a chance to show how much they appreciate the Douglas teachers.
One or two PTO members coordinate the event, and Douglas families donate all food and supplies. In addition, 2-3 volunteers are available the day of the luncheon to set up and clean up.
